Baby Bees!!!

This is kinda old news but I still feel the need to share my excitement of that one HAPPY day!

So last summer, the summer of 2009, I was outside taking a bunch of pictures just for fun. It was a perfect beautifully sunny day, its was not cold but not TOO hot. So anyways I was walking along the bottom of the property passing by the Black-eyed Susans, which Mother cherishes oh so much. These wild Black-eyed Susans grow on our property every summer. It is truly a beautiful thing, I see why Mom likes them so much. Anyways, for some reason this one particular flower caught my eye, so I stopped to take pictures of it. Guess what was on it!!! Oh you'll never guess I'll just tell you! There were three little BABY BEES!!!!!!!!!!! It was the cutest little think I have EVER seen! They were all huddled on the petals of the Susan. Their antennas were all big too, kinda like a puppy with extra large paws, still waiting to be grown into! They were just sooooo cute sitting there while I took pictures of them. I mean when do you ever get to see Baby Bees?! I don't know about you but that has never happened to me! I did not even think about baby bees even existing. I never thought about it!

Perfect Puddles!!!

Hopefully you have grasped the fact that I really like photography! There are certain times as a photographer when you see everything as a picture! You start to see how something would make a good picture, or whether it looks good to the camera. I think, for the most part, you photographers out there can agree with me. Its kinda like an olympian. they are always thinking about their sport. Right!?

Well I, as a photographer(in-training), believe that puddles are one of those things you just cannot pass up without checking it out first!!! I mean looking at the lighting, location, how clear the water is, and what's behind it! ;) Maybe even just jumping in this Perfect Puddle! Haven't you ever had the urge to just JUMP in a puddle!? And if you happen to be ALL GROWN UP, maybe as a kid you had the urge. Either way you get what I am trying to say. haha ANYWAYS, I believe that a Perfect Puddle cannot go unattended!!!

What is a Perfect Puddle you ask!? Well a Perfect Puddle is, very clear water, perfect reflection, and COLD! This puddle has to have the perfect placing even if that place is under your foot. ;) But then again it always depends on what you plan on using this puddle for.

For my following Perfect Puddle pictures, what makes them perfect is... well it might have been a curious little boy, large mountain trees, a bike rider, or the reflection of a pretty girl named Keelin.

You tell me!

Kat :)
