The Boys of Fall!!! <3

I love country music SOOOO MUCH! Country musicians sing about so much that I can love, laugh, and sing along to! Country music is just from the heart, true reality, love, family, friend, hardships... God, and isn't that what life's all about? So I just love country because it is all about the good stuff! And I can relate (or try) to almost every good country song! :)

There is this one song, that I particularly LOOVVVEEEEE a LOT!... This song is about high school football, and how it makes boys feel when they play. And It's just a beautiful thing to me, the feeling of joy, love, and maybe even pain, that is expressed in this song! And I honestly didn't know JUST how much it meant for every guy who was playing on that field, and how it felt (well understandably so, because I have never played, BOYS high school football :P). I never thought that football would help boys grow into men. I just think that playing on your high school football team is soooo cool, and it becomes so much more than just a game! Because on that field those boys have something that will always be there to back them up the rest of their life. They have a sort of, Brotherhood, I guess you could say. They have friends there, that will be like no others! They learn respect, passion, hard work, and honor! What a great privilege to be able to experience it all! They are almost like supper stars who get to feel the game day jitters, and the passion, and excitement... well I don't need to explain it to all you guys who, play, or have played on your high school team, cuz you already know that feeling, the one you will remember the rest of your life. :)

Even if you don't like country, just listen to it! Such a GOOD song! The music video is AMAZING! I just love it! ;) <3

The Farm Life!

I mentioned in one of my previous posts that we have a lot of animals, and that is true. I guess you could say we live on a "little Farm" compared to most people. Between the donkey's braying, and the rooster crowing at dawn, we have about 69 animals on our property... well thats if I counted right, and I think I did :) Anywho, we have a LOT of animals, and we all take turns caring for this collection of animals. So there is a fair amount of work to be done around here. And there are times where it can get a little over whelming, but thats what you get when you do what we do. And I don't mind the work at all. I mean of course I have my days where I really don't want to wake up at 5:00 (IN THE MORNING) to milk the cow! I mean who doesn't?!

But, I will be the first to say that I am a Cowgirl at heart. I think I even kinda have this little pride thing going on... I just take so much pride in wearing my cow-hat, and getting calloused hands from working outside (thats weird, I know)! I just LOVE being able to milk my own milk, gather my own eggs in the morning, or pick the tomatoes for my salad. There is just something about the country life that is like no other! The work ethic that comes with having a farm is just so beautiful to me. You become a very disciplined person, with a lot of responsibilities. And it really sets you on the right beginning to the path of life. The sense of accomplishment, that comes from getting dirty, cutting your finger, or just doing dog-gone hard work, is so incredibly amazing!!!

I do hope to find MY good ol Cowboy, God created me to be with, and start my own "ranch" someday. But we will see what God has planed for this Cowgirl!!!

Now I know that not EVERYONE can be a cowgirl, or cowboy, and thats fine, I respect that. But IIII will keep on doing what I love, and COWGIRL-IT-UP till the break of day!!! :D

A Passionate Talent

We all have our talents, and God given gifts right? Even if you don't see them or even realize what they might be, you have them.
Well... one of the talents God has so wonderfully blessed me with is photography! When I was little I always loved taking pictures, and as I got older, I thought it would be cool to get my own camera. And when I did, I just took pictures of EVERYTHING. Soon my family and I started to realize that these were actually pretty good pictures. So I took more and more. And now I realize that its really what I want to do when I "grow up"!

My local Community Collage has a great photography program, so I plan on enrolling there to work on Portrait photography. I just love taking pictures of just about everything, but especially people. I want to do weddings, graduations, babies, engagements, family shoots, and whatever else. I just think that I could truly catch those moments that people want in their memories. Yes a photo is worth a thousand words, but its also worth a million memories. When I take a picture I look back at it and remember what I was thinking when I took it, who I was with, and the thoughts that where going through my head. When a family goes to take their "family pictures", they expect to make memories that will last them a lifetime. As their photographer, I have to catch those special moments. And I sure love doing it!!! :)
Thats what my Passionate Talent is.... Photography!

A Cow... :)

This is actually kind of old news but it's what's on my mind right now, and I think you might all enjoy what is on my mind! ;)
So we have a cow! This is not shocking news, considering all the other farm life we have going on at my house (and no, I'm not talking about my brothers). But yes we have a cow. Its quite funny cuz, we always told ourselves we wouldn't get a cow, but we did!

She is a Holstein milk cow, 5 years old, and she has the BEST name you have ever heard, her name is Maribelle (Isn't that cute?). About 4 weeks ago Maribelle had her baby!!!! He is soooo cute, but I have some very sad news to share with you, he... well HE is a HHEEE.... and that means that we have to sell him to the slaughter house. I know I am sorry you have to hear this oh so sad news. But it is true, we cannot keep him, that would cost TOO much money to feed a bull, just for fun. But he is cute, and I enjoy his cuteness everyday as I drag him away from his mom, so that I can milk her! ;) haha So yes he is cute, but not very friendly, which is fine, because I don't want to grow attached. We have not named him, I just call him Baby Cow. But my neighbor, named him Buford. I think thats a good name for this cute little bull. Here are some pictures of him... :)

So you might be wondering why my sister and I own a cow. Well, we sell her milk to any locals who are looking for tasty, raw, fresh cow's milk. The milk that we sell is not pasteurized in any way. She is grass fed, and very healthy. So if you would like to buy any grass-fed, raw cow's milk let us know!!! :D
