So I don't know if you have seen the movie "8 seconds", but its one of my favorites! And it tells the story of Lane Frost, one the America's greatest bull riders!!! Its a good movie!

But ANYWHO, there is this poem, its read in the movie, an Im kinda in love with it so I thought I'd share it with all of you! :)

A Couple of "Gents"

So the other day we had some close family friends over for dinner, an to hang out! Well we where ALL having a GREAT time! It was a bunch of fun...

I walked outside, an saw my Dad, and Uncle B, sitting outside, having a couple of beers, an enjoying the view and some target practice! :D haha I could not help but laugh, an take pictures! Oh how I love those two! They make me laugh so much! ;D

Ducklings!

So we have a few new additions to our lil "farm"!!! Please meet our cute little ducklings! :D 

 Everyday we fill up this bucket up with water, an they go swimming, which is THEE CAUTEST thing you will ever witness! :)

Yes, be jealous of our baby ducks!! :D Because, really, WHO has ducklings! :)

Beautiful Eyes Benny

Look how beautiful Benny's eyes r! :D Arn't they just beautiful!? He's a silly lil cat, but I truly do love his eyes! :D

Lil bit of happiness!

So we live on what most people call a little farm! We have a garden, chickens, goats, donkeys, horses, and more! We live on a hill of 2 1/2 acres! Althought it isn't quite as big as others, it makes us happy!
And somtimes, there are things that we find, and take the time to understand the beauty and wonder of it all, even if its the simplest things! Like comming across a litter of baby bunnies, or field mise running althrough the hay!

Thats actually quite funny! One day, I was out doing the chores of the day, unloading the hay, cleaning, mucking, feeding, ya kno that usual! I was all up in the hay just doing stuff! When I was all finished, I checked the coop for eggs, grabbed the milk, and headed inside! About half way to the house, I felt a little stick type thing in the leg of my pants. I just thought to myself "oh, its just hay" cuz that happenes ALL the TIME! So I just went on doing my thing! About half way through filtering the milk, I felt somthing moving in my pocket! So I calmly walked to the bathroom, as this THING is moving around in my pants! I get there, took off my pants, and out drops a field MICE!
I just started laughing! It was great... and the rest of the family thought so too! :)

So, as embarassing as that is, to find a mouse in your PANTS... little things like that make my day!

Cowgirl UP or go sit in the Truck! ;)! :)

So as you are hopefully aware of, I have a truck! I LOVE my baby! And I was trying to thing of WHAT sticker I was going to put on it! I really wanted a decal to put into the window! BUT I had to pick the PERFECT one!!! :) I was looking for what felt like FOREVER! But I finally found one! :)
and this is it! And NOW, because my truck is personalized with a bandana in the rear-view mirror, and a decal in the window, you for SURE won't mistake me for someone else, when driving around town! ;)

Mud on The Tires!!!

So the other day someone asked me; "what is your PERFECT date?"...
Well right off the bat, I had NO idea! I have never really dreamed of the GREATEST date....
But when we were driving home today, my iPod was on shuffle an on came like one of my ALL TIME favorite songs EVER in the history of THEE world!
This song is called "Mud on The Tires" by Brad Paisley!!! (i love him BTW)
So have you ever heard one of those songs that your just sooo in LOVE with that you KINDA want it to be a reality for you?.. yea well this is THAT song for me!...
I think it would be the GREATEST thing ever to go drivin to a lake shore, an just relax in the moon light! talk bout romantic RIGHT???!!! :D :D :D :D ahhh its just too cool sounding! I mean, THAT is what you call a Country Date! its simple, but O-SO-SWEET!!! ;)

LENT :)

Soooo I don't know if yall know, but its LENT...
annnn for those of you who don't KNOW what lent is, its the Catholic tradition, a period of the liturgical year from Ash Wednesday to Easter. The traditional purpose of Lent is the preparation of the believer through prayer, repentance, alms-giving and self-denial, for the annual commemoration during Holy Week of the Death an Resurrection of Jesus Christ , which recalls the events linked to the Passion of Christ and culminates in Easter, the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is also part of Church teaching to give up something that  may be keeping one from God!... most common sacrifices are;candy,chocolate,music, iPod, FaceBook, TV, Internet, etc. 

Sometimes Lent is looked upon negatively.. "ahhh do I HAVE to give something up?!"... That's typically our attitude. But the thing is, Lent is a BEAUTIFUL time of year, where we get a chance of spiritual renal! It sure is hard, anyone who has truly given it thier all would know that! It's WELL worth the sacrifice! God gave his ONLY Begotten son, for the salvation of our lost souls!... the LEAST we could do is devote 40 days of little sacrifice to Him. RIGHT!?
I am always having to remind MYSELF of that, an once I do, I realize how wonderful these 40 days REALLY are! :)

What More Could I Ask For!?....

So I must say, My sister (an bestfriend) Keelin Ariel McCollom is THEE GREATEST! We have a bunch of fun... maybe TOO much fun, doin all kinds of CRAZY things. All in all, we get along pretty well... although, she can be a LITTLE frustraiting, but then again, the same could probably be said for me.... ppshh NNAAHHH! ;P 

In all seriousness though, I am extreamly blessed, an greatful ta have Kee in my life. I know she will always be there for me, ta love an help me out. Isn't it kinda great ta have someone like that!? Keelin is just one of many I have been beautifully blessed with! An ta me, the blessings that God gives you are what make this life perfect right?! So in a way, my friends an family, like Keelin, are what make my life wonderful, because there are all a beautiful blessing from God... what more could I ask for!?

Disney LAANNNNDDDD

So we have Disney passes! Soooo we have been going a lot! It is a very spelndid place like the say! I didn't realize just HOW splendid it was, until I started going... a BUNCH! ;) I think my favorite ride is Thunder Mountain! Its THEEE greatest! :)
